C1 House by Dettling Architekten

The latest exhibition to join the impressive portfolio from German architecture firm Dettling Architekten is the C1 house now located in Karlsruhe, Germany. The house’s street-facing facade seems minimalist and innocuous enough, but it’s once you move deeper into the property where the surface of a pool running the length of the building collects the surrounding structure’s reflection, giving the modern property a sense of greater size and depth. Central themes of C1 style architecture run rampant here, with the structure constructed around concepts of achieving a seamless space, with interior and exterior aesthetics alike carefully connected.
