A Studio Visit with Jeff Soto for the “Decay and Overgrowth” Exhibition

The work of surrealist and contemporary artist Jeff Soto will be making its way into another New York City showing, but in the meantime, Arrested Motion recently had a chance to check out Soto’s eclectic studio space to get a sneak peek of some of the pieces that will soon comprise his “Decay and Overgrowth” collection. As hinted in the title, themes from this series of artworks revolve around concepts of family, birth, death, growth and other critical aspects of the human experience. Soto has even imagined what the remains of his own ancestors might have looked like as part of the series. You can check out the full photoset from the studio visit over at Arrested Motion.
