adidas 2012 FANATIC Tournament Recap

This past Saturday New York City’s Chelsea Waterside Park was home to the 11th annual FANATIC Tournament from adidas. Featuring 20 teams and more than 1,000 fans from around the city, the event included spins from DJ Neil Armstrong alongside BBQ and beverages from the likes of Heineken, Powerade, Vita Coco and smartwater. In the end, The Smile took home the tournament’s championship, defeating Marcus Samuelsson’s Blatte United in the finals while Nowhere FC won the top prize for best uniforms with Psyop garnering the award for best team spirit.
