The Chief Keef phenomenon is real, especially since Kanye shelled out that remix that catapulted the Chi-Town teen into a whole new dimension of fame. For something so crucial, it turns out Chief Keef had no direct involvement with Kanye. No discussions took place with anyone from G.O.O.D. Music or anyone affiliated. The newly signed Interscope rapper explains in this exclusive VIBE interview:
“I didn’t have the chance to talk to anyone at G.O.O.D. Music,” Keef tells VIBE. “It was just a remix and that was it. It wasn’t no words said or none of that.”
Despite this, the teen Chi-town rapper has no hard feelings and is seemingly appreciative for the co-sign.
“I even had to wait for my own song, like three weeks,” Keef continues. “But it’s all good. I fuck with Kanye. It ain’t never no hard feelings.”
