Fresh from the catwalks of Milan Fashion Week, Calvin Klein’s latest looks unfold. Designed by Italo Zucchelli, the American label’s 2013 spring/summer collection cites the “evolution of the American hero” as its fundamental inspiration. Evincing athletic influences with the potential return of washed denim, the collection takes a minimalist perspective to the construction of an almost military uniform. T-shirts, light jackets, pants, shorts and suits celebrate signature blacks, whites, off-whites and charcoals, giving way only to faded denims and most notably a dignified grey floral motif for casual elegance.
