In a celebration of craftsmanship and design, British furniture company Vitsoe and Japan’s Kinfolk Bicycle Company have linked up for a special event this month in New York City. Dubbed “Built to Last,” the event will see Kinfolk’s Ryan Carney discuss everything from Kinfolk’s creation and design philosophy, to the parallels between the company’s own ideology and Dieter Rams’s ten principles for good design. Set to take place on Thursday, May 17 at Vitsoe’s 33 Bond Street location in New York City, those interested in attending can register for the event here. The in-store exhibition is set to run through June 14 and will aim to highlight Kinfolk’s design philosophy, process as well as the tenants of the brand that run synonymous with the ideology of Dieter Rams’ 10 principles for good design.
