The Rig Out Magazine “Dept of Small Works” Editorial

For the latest issue of their publication, The Rig Out team has produced an editorial focusing on the compact working and living environment that is prevalent in Japan. Featuring photography from Antony Crook and styling by Glenn Kitson, the editorial sees The Rig Out’s Dan Doyle and James Bowthorpe interviewing local craftsmen and artisans as they set out to document “the same culture that brought us the walkman or gameboy – small boxes, complicated insides.” The photos see the locals inside their own places of work and sporting a combination of pieces from Carhartt heritage and Edwin Overworks alongside their own garb. Issue 5 of The Rig Out is now available on select newsstands.
