In an effort to unite independent boutiques with prospective clients around the globe, farfetch.com built a diverse community of forward-thinking boutiques that pool together their inventory allowing for any fashion lover with an internet connection to shop their latest releases from the comforts of home. An ingenious idea to both build exposure as well as profit for these smaller shops, the online retailer hub recently brought some of their more influential European & American boutiques to the multipurpose art and events gallery, The Space, for a one-night only pop-up shop experience in Hong Kong. Selling high-end designers and virtually unknown start-ups, participants included L’eclaireur, Ra, Hostem, Curve, Tessabit, Dante 5 and Henrik Vibskov. The HYPEBEAST team was lucky enough to catch an invite to this exclusive event and we wanted to share our experience.
