Cave House by Tiziana Serretta

The Cave House by Tiziana Serretta, a Jane-of-all-trades creative who has seen her work span art, fashion and design, utilizes a theme of mobility and weightlessness for her Milan home. Crafted to look like a rudimentary structure from the past that had been jettisoned forward into a time when design could have wide-encompassing changes, key inspiration points include pavement that integrates the full spacial expansion made of volcanic sand, gold dust and mother of pearl powder, bronzed steel fireplace, modular round shaped couch, and walls that are realized in a mixture of chalk covered in resin, cement powder, chromatic pigments and non-hazardous plastics. The extremely abstract shelter is truly a work to behold.
