Capturing the city of Los Angeles through the lens of “vintage photography” — 35mm’s, Polaroids and Super 8mm film — the recent opening of Quam Odunsi’s “Anachronistic Capture:Motion & Stills” opened this past Thursday at DESIGN MATTERS. Having initially made the announcement for the exhibition a few weeks ago, today presents the recap of the retro showcase. Playing on the nostalgia and history captured by each image, the minimalistic gallery featured an extensive range of film from Odunsi while also showcasing an assortment of vintage cameras and hardware. “Anachronistic Capture:Motion & Stills” was curated by Khoi Nguyen.
