Situated in West Hollywood, California, the Orange Grove by Brooks + Scarpa Architects is an extensive 6,700-square-foot residential building. The exterior facade of Orange Grove stands in stark contrast to the neighboring single family homes, boasting a pre-fad and overtly contemporary guise. The juxtaposition of the concrete and industrial aesthetic of the building are augmented internally with Orange Grove’s minimal interior construction, pure white walls and polished concrete flooring. Each space within the building boasts a balcony that overlooks the street, affording a degree of community and dialogue between the otherwise standout homes.
