After shocking her fans by deleting her Twitter account, Nicki Minaj continues to worry the massive number of her followers. In a new interview with Tim Westwood, the Young Money diva revealed that she is seriously contemplating quitting the music industry. While referring to her latest drop Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded as a mixtape, Ms. Minaj stated that she is not satisfied with the rather lukewarm response the album has received.
“People aren’t even giving the kid props for taking it back to that essence. This is my fourth mixtape, really. The kid did like that to feed her fans. But really now, the kid thinking maybe she should leave the game.”
Although this has been said in her best Lil Wayne impersonation, it sure leaves some more space for speculation. It is known that Nicki was not pleased at all that one of her fan sites has leaked some of her music. Despite pleading from fans, also known as Barbz, to return to Twitter, she has no intention to reunite with her 11 million followers anytime soon.
“I miss my Barbz. But I can’t come back. I just can’t, Tim. Don’t make me. Please don’t.”
