Mike D Tours Transmission LA @ MOCA

The AVANT/GARDE Diaries present a tour of the new Transmission LA exhibition at the MOCA which was curated by none other than Beastie Boy, Mike D. Featuring installations from Tom Sachs, Peter Coffin, Jim Drain & Ara Peterson, Ben Jones, and Lauren Mackler of Public Fiction, each draws heavily from the world of music – including dazzling light shows, pinwheels, and a one-of-a-kind display by Mike D himself where he uses a Mercedes-Benz as his canvas. Transmission LA is currently on display at the MOCA in Los Angeles.
