If you’ve watched the videos for JMSN’s “Alone” and “Something,” you’ve probably noted his penchant for creating dark, demented, poignant visual accompaniments to his equally as haunting music. With this brand new installment, he doesn’t stray from those key elements. However, while “Something” may be hard for some to stomach and “Alone” may come off as a bit drugged out and bloody, JMSN portrayed his vision through different means with this video for his namesake track, “Jameson.” Through vivid cinematography and deeply rooted metaphors, what seems like a story of irresponsible parents turns out to be something much more. Don’t believe that? After you watch “Jameson” above, head over to his Tumblr to read an explanation of the video from the man himself. Also, be on the lookout for videos for the rest of the songs on JMSN’s debut album, †Priscilla†, which is available now.
