Hedi Slimane for Yves Saint Laurent

Yves Saint Laurent will once again be sailing with a director at the helm. Because of the sensitivity of the subject, an official announcement has yet to be made, but an inside senior executive has confirmed that as of Wednesday, March 7, Hedi Slimane will be named as the new creative director at YSL to fill the role that has been left empty since the departure of Stefano Pilati. Assuming the insider tip is official, tomorrow is expected to bring a formal company announcement from YSL as to the specifics of the Slimane appointing.
