Having sat down with the HYPEBEAST team a few weeks ago for our Trade series, Co-Founder and Chief of Marketing at Gourmet NFN, Jon Buscemi, returns to our viral pages for the ever-popular Essentials program. From investment banking to the Brand Director at Oliver Peoples and now a driving force behind one of the industry’s most recognizable indie labels, Buscemi is a well-rounded, down-to-earth creative dude looking to innovate the game adding a strong helping of fun. A large collection of daily necessities, every piece offers a look into the personal life of this enterprising gentlemen. Starting with a portable meat slicer, 6-pack of Heineken, and a wings + horns picnic blanket, we can tell he’s always willing to pause work for a relaxing break in the Californian sun. Don’t get it twisted however, Gourmet is still his passion and nothing will prevent him from getting the job done. Evidence of this is present with the toting of a large booklet of checks, a phone unit for longer business calls, a color fan, Rosetta Stone Italiano Edition as Italian chic is a defining inspiration for his brand, a shoe horn, and of course Advil. A tasteful collection without a doubt, the only thing missing is the most important piece, his footwear.
