On February 27, 1982, Satoshi Kawashima opened his DOUBLEDUTCH store in Nagoya, Japan. Specializing in vintage clothing from America and England, the store eventually moved on to stock the ever-increasing range of homegrown streetwear labels that started to explode onto the scene in the 1990s. An impressive 30 years later and it is still going strong. Well known in the industry, the company now has two DOUBLEDUTCH stores that sell brands such as OriginalFake, Good Enough and NEXUSVII, as well as the Supreme, UNDERCOVER and HOODS franchises for Nagoya. To help celebrate this milestone, both NEIGHBORHOOD and WTAPS have produced these limited edition pieces. From NEIGHBORHOOD comes a non-slip mat that features an adhesive backing and will retail for ¥1,575 JPY (approximately $20 USD), while WTAPS have crafted an original design LADY LUCK PINK BONANZA keychain retailing for ¥11,550 JPY (approximately $142 USD), plus a HERALDRY PINK logo T-shirt for ¥6090 JPY (approximately $75 USD). All of these items will be available exclusively from the HOODS Nagoya store on March 3.
