A master of blending innocuous contemporary urban fashion with technical outdoor fabrics, Japanese streetwear brand NEXUSVII is releasing its latest NEX-WCS LV3 WINDSTOPPER R-VEST as part of its Spring 2012 collection. Inspired by military-spec cold weather layering systems, the reversible vest features a GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER membrane on both sides, and is designed to be worn as an outermost windproof layer. In this system, a NEXUSVII level 2 piece worn in conjunction with the vest would be a mid-layer, similar to its Drizzler Jacket. The reversible vest features a classic military four patch-pocket front on one side, and two hand pockets on the other with color-matched gingham accents throughout. Like the rest of the line, the vest is proudly made in Japan, and retails for ¥33,600 JJPY (approximately $420 USD).
