Jewelry designer and artist Daisuke Sakaguchi was among the 200 artists chosen as part London’s The Big Egg Hunt 2012 which encompasses massive easter eggs. The project will benefit two partners including the “Elephant Family” for the protection of Asian elephants and “Action for Children.” Joining some big names in the creative world, Sakaguchi’s piece will be displayed alongside the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Sir Ridley Scott, Zaha Hadid, the Champan Brothers and Sir Peter Blake. The eggs will be put on display starting February 21 for 40 days and 40 nights. All 200 eggs will be auctioned for charity, with 170 being made available online and 30 up for auction through Sotheby’s.
