Cutting-edge eyewear brand Linda Farrow has partnered with German-Iranian designer Boris Bidjan Saberi for the first time to present an exclusive pair of “Goggles” for Fall/Winter 2012. Known for his intricate approach to designs alongside his visible tendency towards heavy layering and muted palettes, this project should come as no total shocker knowing that Linda Farrow often taps in innovative new designers to add on its burgeoning roster of projects. The unique pair of goggles is solely made from oxidized metals in lieu of typical material such as glass and plastic, resulting to a fashion-forward aesthetic that features horizontal narrow lines throughout the majority of its structure. This attempt to reinvent a utilitarian accessory is parallel with Saberi’s eye for protective and durable apparels of mountain infantry that served as the main references, both technically and visually for his latest lineup. Offered in three options including matte silver, oxidized matte silver and matte black, the exclusive goggles will be available starting from June 2012 at select stockists worldwide.
