Harley Davidson has produced a slimmed-down version of the classic Softail for the new year. First introduced in the 1980s, Softails pioneered shock absorbtion to the rear suspension for a smoother, less bumpy ride. This 2012 lightweight bobber features a powerful air-cooled HD Twin Cam 103B engine with electronic fuel injection, 98.7 ft-lb of torque, and a fuel economy of 42 mpg. Authentically styled with a cat-eye console, “Hollywood” handlebars, a slim rear profile, low-slung solo saddle, and half-moon foot boards, the bike boasts a Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission and optional anti-lock brakes. Pictured here in Ember Red Sunglo, the Softail Slim is also available in Black Denim and Vivid Black at a base price of $15,499 USD.
