Following the last Star Trek multiplex showcase in 2009, James T. Kirk and the crew are back for a second pre-quel with next summers “Star Trek into Darkness”. From the new trailer, it seems like J.J Abrams has prepped us for another exhilarating excursion with the rumor that Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing villain, similar to the role of Gary Mitchell’s “Trek”. The synopsis suggests there to be commotion within the Enterprise, leaving Kirk to lead a man-hunt to a war-zone world in search of the carrier of mass destruction. “Star Trek Into Darkness” hits the big screens on May 17 next year, at the mean time check out the trailer above and let us know what you think.
