A little over two years after the duo’s “Lovikka” Chuck Taylor All-Star debut, Sneakersnstuff and Converse appear primed to release the follow-up to their riff on the classic sneaker. The original release paid tribute to the knitted mittens of the Lovikka village, where they were crafted to fend off frosty Scandinavian temperatures — each mitten was knitted with locally sourced yarn, washed for softness and then spun to be doubly thick for extra warmth. Featuring wholly knitted uppers set atop colorfully striped Chuck Taylor soles, the sneakers also featured knitted ‘SNS’ logos and rear tassels, making them one of the more distinctive All-Star iterations at the time of their release. The Sneakersnstuff x Converse “Lovikka” Chuck Taylor All-Star originally debuted in white and appears set to release again in a dusty grey makeup. Stay tuned for release dates and more information as they surface.
