Beginning as a self initiated, self funded project in 2007, The Goodhood Store was conceived as a space for some of the finest clothing collections and objects worldwide. The Shoreditch, London-based retailer has since expanded its premises and now also encompasses an industry-leading website, gallery space and office, new avenues through which to share their ideas of independence, exclusivity and quality. For Fall/Winter 2012, The Goodhood Store’s “My Country” lookbook showcases the tightly-edited product offerings that have become its signature. Among them are new pieces from Junya Watanabe Man, Norse Projects, Neighborhood, Carhartt and Maiden Noir, a blend of classic, masculine garments with a contemporary and street-wise edge. Standouts include patterned outerwear and shirting from the likes of Monitaly and Universal Works, along with more subdued seasonal staples from Carhartt and Norse Projects.
