The second and final drop this year by PUMA‘s Shadow Society brings back the Red Star and Blue Star from a beautiful era–the early ’80s. This marks the first ever reissue of the two iconic and revered silhouettes that have been much loved since its inception decades ago. Built for ultimate grip on indoor surfaces, both lightweight runners featured clean suede uppers with distinct T-Toe overlays and padded foam tongues in fetching primary colors that explained its titles. The Shadow Society — a tight-knit diverse group of taste makers and PUMA aficionados worldwide with elusory Masonic appeal — has meticulously refurbished every detail of the originals in good faith, from the suede uppers with its T-Toe overlays to the font, logo spacing and style of branding. They have also thrown in PUMA’s vintage Dassler logo for authenticity. The shoes are scheduled for a December 8 drop at PUMA “The List” retailers globally and other key retailers.
