Givenchy Star-Detail Leather High-Top Sneaker

Amongst the myriad of luxury trainers already offered in the market, Givenchy releases its latest take on the classic high-top silhouette — adding the label’s signature characteristics that modestly proclaim Riccardo Tisci‘s proclivity for stars and ornamentation, yet maintain an overall minimal aesthetic. The majority of the upper is made from various panelled and textured pieces of black leather, while the black rubber composite sole receives hints of white at the heel and toe regions. Givenchy branding can be seen in three locations of the sneaker: stamped at back of the heel, on the bottom of the sole, and on the outward-facing side panel. To complete the shoe, a large Velcro strap that serves for both form and function is introduced and wrapped completely around the ankle — providing support whilst at the same time brandishing large raised star embellishments.
