Brian Kelley “Into the Darkness” Photos from Hurricane Sandy

Like many other photographers, Brian Kelley took to the darkened streets of New York City to explore the depths of the concrete metropolis sans people and power following the devastating impact of Hurricane Sandy which wreaked havoc on the East Coast. His trained eye managed to capture the spooky glow that hung above and around the city – using historic bridges and buildings as a point of reference amidst the all-encompassing darkness. Traveling through the LES, Chinatown and SoHo, daybreak brought with it a more precise and definitive representation of the carnage.
