Marvel Comics: The Untold Story - A Book Revealing Behind the Scenes Personalities

Just released is the new title Marvel Comics: The Untold Story by Sean Howe. Billing itself as “an unvarnished, unauthorized, behind-the-scenes account of one of the most dominant pop cultural forces in contemporary America,” the book reveals, for the first time, the larger-than-life personalities behind Marvel Comics including Martin Goodman, the self-made publisher who ventured in comics; Stan Lee, the editor and public face of Marvel; and Jack Kirby, co-creator of Captain America and, along with Lee, developer of many of Marvel’s marquee personalities. With information drawn from over 100 interviews, the new book promises to shed light on one of the most beloved companies in American popular culture.
