Apple has confirmed a Tuesday, October 23 event where they will showcase a number of new products – with none more highly-pined for than the iPad Mini and the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro. Insiders point to a 1024×768 display on a 7.85-inch screen for the Mini – which adds up to a pixel density of 163ppi – better than the iPad 2′s 132ppi. In addition, it’s rumored to have 512MB of RAM with internal storage capacities ranging from 16GB-64GB. For those interested in the smaller version of the previously released 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, the newest model is said to have all the bells and whistles of its predecessor. Rumored to be rounding out the event is a refreshed iPad, redesigned iMac and Mac mini, and iTunes 11. Expect key details, pricing and availability information following the 10 a.m. PST event.
