Set against the natural splendor of Inner Mongolia, Ordos is a former boom town that now sits desolate and uninhabited. Called the Dubai of northern China, Ordos is a city filled with public infrastructure and located in a resource-rich area but home to just thousands of inhabitants instead of the million-plus it was designed for. Skaters Jay Meador, Gustav Nymans, Tommy Zhao, Alexander Hwang, James Capps, Elliott Zelinskas, and Brian Dolle traveled to the city to be the first to skate it and document their adventures there. What they found was an urban landscape just begging to be skated. Check the video for a look at how it all went down.
