Vans OTW 2012 Advocate Video

Vans strides into 2012 with its newest OTW collection captured in this “photo essay” video introducing Lupe Fiasco and Chris Kong as line advocates, joining Eric Elms and Dimitri Coste as creative forces collaborating with OTW designers. Lupe and Chris will join the OTW crew in Berlin next Wednesday for a special launch event at the Bread & Butter trade show as they are welcomed into the Vans family. Vans will transform the East Berlin venue “Department” into a three-day House of Vans experience featuring advocate artwork installations throughout the building. Attendees will be able to discover the photography of Dimitri Coste, large vinyl pieces by Eric Elms, Chris Kong’s unique toys and sculptures, and Lupe Fiasco’s collection of books and concert photographs. The experience kicks off January 18 with a live musical appearance by Lupe Fiasco, Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and The Patta Sound System. A limited number of tickets will be available to the public through select Berlin retailers who carry the OTW line and the show will be webcast live at Stickam.com/vans1966.
