Global fast food chain McDonald’s has commissioned Parisian product designer Patrick Norguet to revamp the interiors on all its restaurants in France. This new development is an attempt to repackage the brand’s image from its highly successful “adolescent tone” to a more familial setting, a format implemented by Norguet that revisits McDonald’s roots. The birch plywood plays an important role to the entire architectural aesthetic, which combines modernity, functionalism, and even innovation. This effort on altering the interior provides everyone with various eating choices that adapts to different social requirements, particularly in France.
