Akai is set to kick off 2012 with the introduction of the MPC Renaissance. The fully integrated system boasts true MPC input and output alongside 16 backlit pads, support for all legacy MPC file formats, and even a “Vintage Mode” that allows the user to replicate the sound of the MPC3000, MPC60 and more. Look for the Akai MPC Renaissance to debut at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, California on January 19.
