Updating classic alpine-inspired garb with modern day fabrics and technologies, beloved Japanese label White Mountaineering recently unveiled its upcoming collection of designs for Spring/Summer 2013 in Tokyo. Pushing a “training day” theme, the latest pieces from designer Yosuke Aizawa include an array of pullover sweaters, cardigans and vests alongside button-downs, shorts, trousers and lightweight outerwear. Various graphic prints, plaids and stripes are highlighted throughout the collection with a predominance of blue, grey and red hues making up the color combinations. Reminiscent of classic sportswear with a cool, laid-back vibe, the new designs will be available at the usual White Mountaineering stockists in the early months of next year.
