GQ Germany 2012 Fall/Winter "Minimal Maximal" Styled Editorial

Contrast, when executed properly, is often the best way to add a dose of individuality to an outfit — high-low combinations, for example, flashes of color or playful proportions.  For Fall/Winter 2012, GQ Germany displays the marriage of high-fashion extremes in its “Minimal Maximal” editorial. With contrasts often being displayed on one garment or outfit — a simply-cut jacket, for example, given voluminous proportions or injected with wild patterns or color-blocking — the spread is a tutorial on bringing opposites together. Included among the clothing combinations are new seasonal pieces by the likes of Thom Browne and Louis Vuitton. Featuring models Alexander Beck, Arthur Gosse and Nick Heymann, “Minimal Maximal” was shot by Horst Diekgerdes and styled by Manuela Hainz.
