The spirit of the outdoors is captured in the forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection from Taiwanese urban label wisdom. More specifically, inspiration for the pieces captured in this lookbook started with the Christopher McCandless novel Into the Wild, which also represents the abandonment of youth in exchange for freedom and a greater sense of clarity. wisdom has built this collection around this “supertramp” concept, while building in pride in craftsmanship and a careful eye for detail along the way. In it, you’ll find urbanized, military-inspired profiles like storm parkas and wool overcoats in several different varieties of camouflage, together with chunky knits and soft, fleecy sweaters and zip-up jackets. Additionally, muted, earthy hues are central to the collection’s overall look and feel. Look for the Supertramp collection to start arriving at wisdom stockists by early September.
