The newly announced Incase Hammered Hardshell Case for your MacBook Air isn’t designed to withstand actual blows from a hammer, while it will give your computer a significant level of added protection from the rigors of your daily travels. It’s actually the visual cues from the shell’s textured, injection-molded surface that give it the name. While in the snap-on case though, you still have full access to all of your computer’s charging dock and side ports, making it a rugged second skin of sorts.
