A Bathing Ape x Schott NYC 2012 Fall/Winter Riders Jacket

Schott NYC and A Bathing Ape have reunited for the 2012 fall/winter season, resulting in this exclusive leather jacket. This time around the classic Schott NYC Riders jacket has been chosen as the base model. A rather in-depth process went in to choosing the type of leather that was used for the outer of the jacket. By selecting the hide of a cow that had birthed a calf over two years before, the team found that the resulting product was smoother and thinner than that of a steer but stronger and thicker than calfskin. To make sure whoever does purchase this jacket does not forget that it is a BAPE product, the nylon inner features an OG Green Camo pattern throughout. All other branding has been kept to a minimum, with no obvious logos on show, not even the traditional BAPE tag. The A Bathing Ape x Schott NYC Riders jacket is expected to release in the fall with a Japanese retail price of ¥84,000 JPY (approximately $1,070 USD).
