This small introduction to the 2012 fall/winter collection from Hiroki Nakamura’s visvim draws attention to a few of the standout items we can expect to see from this highly regarded label. Once again, Nakamura has been inspired by a mix of classic Japanese tailoring and native American designs, with materials used extensively and sourced personally by the man himself. Returning this season is the iconic FBT SHAMAN JP, a silhouette that is instantly recognizable as the visvim classic moccasin design. The 2012 fall/winter version’s upper will be crafted from premium UK manufactured cow suede, hand-finished and then sat upon a PU and Vibram midsole/sole combination. Other shoes set to release include denim SKAGWAY, suede YUCCA MOC and Italian canvas GRIZZLY MID models. Outerwear comprises of the popular PFD 2.5L GORE-TEX blouson, denim ARTIFACT COVERALL, and the military field coat-inspired KILGORE jacket. The 2012 fall/winter collection from visvim is set to release towards the end of August and will be available at your local F.I.L. and all other visvim retailers.
