Toyota Unveils Family Camatte Concept at 2012 Tokyo Toy Show

Toyota pleasantly surprised both young and old with their Camatte concept model at this year’s Tokyo Toy Show. This vintage toy car spinoff uses an intriguing triangular seat configuration which aims to facilitate communication between the driving parent and their kids behind. It also permits an adjustable pedal configuration which the Japanese car manufacturer purposed for starting children off young. They may now learn to drive in the Camatte while their parents assist steering and braking from the backseat. Finally, that cherry topping on this fun car sundae – the highly customizable concept features interchangeable parts including all major body panels, the clamshell that combines its doors and roof, lights, tires, and rear seats. It’s quite a shame this car currently has no plans for production.
