As part of his continuing series that explores different facets of Japanese culture for K-Swiss, filmmaker Jake Davis goes inside DLX, the marketing and public relation outfit responsible for BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS and Deluxe. Jey Perie gives the viewer an inside look at how the Japanese brands are influenced by classic style. Drawing inspiration from the late ’70s-’90s American culture, each brand bridges the gap between real world pieces with roots in Americana that have since been reinterpreted by adorning Japanese consumers.
