Phantom Miro M320S High-Speed Camera

Current iterations of the award-winning Phantom high-speed camera have limited high-speed capabilities at maximum resolutions. The Miro M320S, Vision Research‘s upcoming successor to the Phantom throne will set a new standard for high-definition recording, as it will be able to record full 1080p HD at an incredible 1,540 frames-per-second. If that’s not slow enough for your epic pie-in-face montages, the Miro will also be able to record much lower resolution video (128 x 8) at a mind-boggling 325,000 fps. The camera is powered by a 3.2 gigapixels/second throughput (compared to 2.3 of its predecessor), and houses an internal capping shutter, on-board battery, and versatile mount fixtures to open up the camera’s versatility and ease of use. Pricing and an official release date have yet to be determined, but it won’t be cheap, and it won’t be immediately soon either.
