nonnative x Liberty Print GORE-TEX Trainer

GORE-TEX might not be your first inclination when creating the upper for a low-top trainer, but Japanese contemporary label nonnative has teamed up with the heritage fabric wizards at Liberty in London to do exactly that. This re-design of nonnative’s popular Dweller shoe is produced from the same thick canvas, and durable gum rubber sole. However, beneath the distinctive blue and white Liberty print flower pattern, there is a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner — just in case. The shoe is made in Japan, and can be purchased from oki-ni, where a pair will set you back £325 GBP (approximately $525 USD).
