Not since 2009′s Jacques Jams, Vol. 1: Endurance feature-filled mixtape and album Love The Future have fans gotten a full-length project from indie group Chester French. Today may mark the start of the group getting back to creating music as they release their latest video for their single “Black Girls.” Although lead singer David-Andrew ‘D.A.’ Wallach has continued working as a featured artist on a number projects, it’s definitely good to see him getting back to his original roots. The following message was left in regards to the video:
“Black Girls,” Chester French’s honest and bold new single, meets a stunning video by acclaimed fashion photographer Francesco Carrozzini. The video stars the multi-talented Rie Rasmussen and Jodie Smith, who bring life to the band’s unabashed, hard-hitting celebration of feminine beauty and interracial love.
