Steven Harrington x ACE Hotel Palm Springs x Generic Surplus 2012 Capsule Collection Preview

Planned to coincide with Coachella early next month, this new project taking the form of a capsule collection is set to be presented by artist Steven Harrington, ACE Hotel Palm Springs, and sneaker label Generic Surplus. A pop-up shop and large mural by Harrington will be on display at the ACE Hotel as part of the concept from these three entities. The collection itself is centered around Steven Harrington’s innovative reimagination of the Borstal shoe. Emphasizing a Southern California lifestyle and aesthetic through this idea, the shoe features a cotton weave pattern combined with graphic artwork on the insole and shoebox.
