The Suzanne Geiss Company was home to the late, great artist Rammellzee’s “The Equation” Exhibition which brought out a diverse group of art enthusiasts to the New York gallery. Prominently on display above patrons heads were his Letter Racers – spacecraft-like sculptures created from found objects which represented the letters A to Z . Amongst key visionaries to take in the show were Martha Cooper, Lee Quinones and Alain Ket. “The Equation” runs through May 14, 2012.

Big K.R.I.T. - King Remembered in Time

We recently caught up with Big K.R.I.T. at the Def Jam offices in NYC to explore the world of what many are deeming the “next big thing” in the South. Surrounded by heavy bass lines, rapid drum rolls and shouting vocals, you would think the heavy influence would bare down. Simply not the case. His approach – his own real life. Soulful soundscapes combined with thought-out lyrics, he shares with us the backdrop on his life and how it all came about in his latest mixtape 4evaNaDay.
