Timeless: 60 Years of the Mercedes-Benz SL Exhibition

One of the most celebrated vehicles within the Mercedes-Benz lineup, the SL series has seen much success over the course of its 60-year existence. The series has also enjoyed its fair share of screen time being one of the notable favorites to Hollywood directors and actors alike to the tune of 150 appearances in both film and television since its inception. To celebrate the series’ 60-year anniversary, Irvine, California-based Mercedes-Benz Classic Center will be hosting a special commemorative showcase to the SL series titled “Timeless: 60 Years of the Mercedes-Benz SL.” The event will highlight every model from the automaker’s extensive 60-year archive. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz has pledged a substantial donation on behalf of its SL Series to the Film Foundation to aid in the organization’s film restoration efforts.
