Taking a respectably different approach, the Carter family has forgone an elaborate gossip magazine spread in favor of a subtle Tumblr unveiling of the first pictures of their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. The special website is dedicated to the birth of the newborn, effectively inviting fans to celebrate in the understandably meaningful and memorable occasion. The pictures come shortly after Jay-Z’s inaugural live performance of the sentimental track “Glory,” a previously released ode to the then unborn Blue Ivy Carter.
