Blending their like-minded foundations and DNA, Carhartt WIP and New York’s 5boro have linked up for a special 2012 capsule collection. The collaborative materializes with the introduction of a range of hard and soft goods. Catering to its skateboarding roots, the duo invited Pontus Alv to lend his art work to a series of custom-designed skate decks. A custom designed workwear jacket and T-shirt arrive curated with understated branding from both Carhartt WIP and 5boro. In conjunction with the hard and soft goods collection, the project will see a forthcoming release of a skate demo video of the two crews tearing through both New York and Detroit.
