Skincare may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about performance cycling sports, but Rapha is attempting to change that. The label has released a “performance skincare” shaving cream in conjunction with the racing season that is designed to rejuvenate and withstand the conditions often by cyclists. Juniper berry, pine needle, lavender and patchouli are among the ingredients that make up the new product. The flora found at Mont Ventoux – a mountain with bike routes included in the Tour de France – was the inspiration for the subtle fragrance which is priced at $20.00 USD.
